Putting a face to the name.

Well, I suppose the biggest thing about me is my family. I'm the youngest of 10 children, yes Catholic, yes we did have a TV and no we didn't sleep 4 in a bed like the Grandparents in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. I'm very close to my family and see it as an extended group of mates that taught me the all important life lesson of the difference between a dead leg and mini pinch and the most effective time to use them.

After 3 years at University mostly watching TV, I thought it was only right to get paid to do it so started my career in Programme Marketing for digital channels Sci.Fi, MTV and UKTV. Nine years later I've taken on the exciting new challenge of Marketing Manager for the Taste Festivals. Quite fitting really seeing as two of my favourite things are eating and drinking!

I'm a grounded, straight talking Mancunian who loves to talk, laugh and watch X Factor. I am always up for trying new things, not exactly a dare devil, just easily persuaded.

There's not many things I hate but I do find tourists with big bags in rush hour and Corned Beef tins probably the most annoying things ever. I love comedy like The Fast Show, Alan Partridge, Pheonix Nights, The Royale Family and anything else that makes Northerners seem funny, because, quite frankily, we are.

The one thing I enjoy boasting about is my Dad was the Captain of England in the first televised Ruby League game against France in 1953-so there!
